EMH= Don't even bother
If you are one of those people who know what EMH is then bear with me for a moment. For those who don't, here's the gist. EMH stands for Extra Magic Hours, these are special hours in the morning or evening when the parks are open only to Disney Resort Guests. Now you'd think this would make visiting the parks easier and less busy but you think wrong. Because only one park a night is open for EMH every last resort guest floods into that park packing it tighter than it ever gets during regular hours. I know this as I work at MGM where it gets absolutely nuts. The line for coaster can stretch all the way to the outer edge of the courtyard during EMH. During the day it doesn't go much farther than the Greeter position and that is rare. Walking through the parks during EMH is like a never ending obstacle course and people are just insane, rude and stupid. I hate EMH with a passion, therefor you should too. Maybe it's not so bad at other parks but it is not worth it at MGM.I just thought I'd share that bit of info with you all in the event you ever decide to visit WDW. It's just not worth it!
Now on for an update on my life. Where did I even leave off? Oh yes, the day of the great watch fiasco. The day before yesterday. Well yesterday I started work at 8:45am. It was an ok work day. Nothing great or amazing happened but I was happy all around. I even extended my shift for an extra 1.5 hours. After work I met up with Louisa, Kev and his family. I proceeded to backdoor the lot of us onto Coaster then get a No Strings for tower. Then after that we walked over to Lights, Motors, Action and discovered the entire show was full and we couldn't get in so intstead we went to the backlot tour. Just as we got under cover it started to rain, so we didn't get wet! We were standing in the queue waiting to get on the tram when we noticed them emptying the LMA stadium so that probably got called off anyways cause of the rain. After the tour, which was lame as the stunt demonstation wasn't fully working as well as the truck in the canyon didn't come sliding towards us. It was lame. So after that we did dinner at Sunset Ranch followed by one more trip to Coaster and Tower. Then I left as I had to head home to sleep. The rest of em stayed for a little while.
This morning I got up at 9 for my 10:15am shift, got ready and left. Got to work, had the slowest morning ever. Thankfully I got an ER (early release) at 5. Was supposed to stay until 9:30pm but since I work tomorrow at 7:45am I really didn't feel like working til later. So now I'm home, doing laundry and getting ready for bed. Must go now.
