I Must Know the Time...
Or I go nuts when I'm at work. If I don't have my watch on me it drives me insane. So this morning I got up at 9:30am and got ready to go to AK with Charlotte and Jei. Just as Charlie and I were about to leave I ran back in to get my watch but I couldn't find it anywhere! The bloody thing was missing. I needed to catch the bus so we left. We got to Animal Kingdom and Jei and I single rided on Everest (Charlie doesn't like big rides, they freak her out) then then three of us did Kali River Rapids. I, being as prone to bad luck as I am, got drenched. I mean soaked through and through. It was very very uncomfortable. So after the ride we walked over to the Flame Tree BBQ for lunch then I decided we had to back to Vista so I could change and not be so uncomfortable and itchy. Then we were to head off to MGM. Jei decided she didn't want to go to MGM so she went back to the Commons. Charlie and I went back to our room, first encountering a snake on the way (we both ran and screamed) and then I got changed into so nice dry clothes.We were just about to leave when it started to pour so we hung around the apt for a little while longer. I searched some more for my watch but no luck we decided that after MGM we'd run over to the outlet mall so I could get one from Fossil.
It stopped raining in time for us to catch the 3:00pm bus. We got to the park and I backdoored us onto RRC. Charlie had never ridden and was freaked out but I dragged her on. It was fun. She enjoyed it, although seemed very shaken. Then we left and popped into one of the shops. Just as we emerged it started to rain again. We walked over to the Great Movie Ride in search of shelter but were appalled to find an actual line stretching around the building. Something I have never seen before. I mean I've always walked right on that ride. It was crazy. So we opted to go sit in the ABC Commissary and wait out the rain. Charlie bought me a hot chocolate and we sat for awhile. Then we walked over to TOTS to see Beauty and the Beast. It was a cute little show, I'd love the job of the girl who plays Belle. I think the best part of the show was the pre-show with the group 4 for a Dollar. They're very good, one was very hot!
After that we strolled back to the entrance of the park. We stopped in Mickey's of Hollywood and I took one look at my hair and gasped. It was bad. So I bought a hat. It was a hat I'd been eyeing for awhile. It's jus tlike the other one I bought, but it's an olive green colour and on the side it says Pirates of the Caribbean. It looks great on me, I really suit that style.
So after my purchase I took Charlie backstage and we went to Cast Services. I got another costume shirt as mine are all dirty and then we used the bank machine. We caught a bus over to the Commons and met up with Jei again and walked over to the Outlet Mall. First we went and had some dinner in the food court. Then we did a bit of peeking in the shops. I went to Fossil and bought a nice watch. Purple with a dark metal wrist band. We walked all the way back to the Commons and sat down in Jei's apartment. I took out my new watch and pushed the little thingy in and the damn thing didn't work! After all that trouble the watch won't work. Now I need a watch and I was very pissed off. So Charlie and I came home and we went to Walgreens and I found a nice watch there, very reminiscient of the one I lost. So now I have two new watches. I'm going to take the Fossil one back when my parents get here. I don't feel like walking back there anytime soon.
Oh and the stupid people at the church decided to put a fence up along the border between the church and the mall so now we have to walk all the way around it now instead of just cutting over at the end of the wall. It was very very annoying. If they think the little fence will deter all us from cutting through their parking lot to get there they have no clue. Young people, especially girls, like to shop!
Anyways, I work at 8:45am tomorrow so I'm off to bed. Have a good day all.
