Soggy and Sleepy
The past few days have been alright, not totally exciting, which is why I haven't been rushing here to write about my mundaneness, but now that I have a few days worth of uninterestingness, I thought I'd share! On Saturday I had the day off. I ended up going to Epcot with Jimmy. He came and picked me up around 2pm and we had lunch at Chik-fil-a. After that we drove to Epcot, parked and then ventured into the park. We started off as all do, at Spaceship Earth. No matter how boring it is, I'll never tire of that ride! After that we went to I think Soarin'. Though it could have been innoventions. lol. We'll act like it was Soarin'. When we got to The Land, the building that Soarin' is in, there were all these people just standing outside and no one could get in. Jimmy and I were very confused and wanted to know what was going on, so we hung around. It turns out there had been a fire alarm inside and the building had been evacuated. This meant that ten minutes later, when they finally let people inside, we like walked on Soarin'. That is incredibly rare, as the line is usually at least 1.5 hours long, if not longer.
After that we went on Nemo, which was cute, very little kiddish though. It was still fun. Then of course we went on Figment, as it's an Epcot tradition.
Eventually we ended up at innoventions, whether it was before or after Soarin' I have no idea. We did Where's the Fire, which was really fun. I'd never done it before. Our team won, of course. Then we went over to the other side of innoventions and did the House of the Future or whatever it's called. It was really cool as it was just on a soft opening. It had been closed and completely updated. They had all these really cool new things in there. The kitchen was completely different. It had this wall mounted oven, that hung like above ur head, and to load it u hit a button and the bottom descended to the counter top. I want one!
Also they changed the 'sewing' room they used to have to like a family room and had these really cool 'fake' instruments that teach you to play. I want the guitar.
The bathroom was also different, had a massive spa shower in it and a toilet without a tank. It was fun.
Oh and the TV was really cool, it was like computer/tv and had the harddrive thingy that lets you tape three programs at once! I totally want one of those.
And the computer they had was touch screen, which was also cool.
So after innoventions we ended up over at Mission Space. Jimmy managed to get me on it, in the bad side too. Of course it freaked me out and gave me a headache. Made me feel like I couldn't breathe, but I lived. As we were getting off we ran into Joey and his cousin...We ended up hanging out with them for awhile. We went to Test Track, the line was miracuously not long.
After that we had dinner at Electric Umbrella. High five for refillable drinks.
Then we went on the new ride in Mexico, they massacred the old one and disneyfied it. Now it stars three mexican cartoon birds, one is donald. And it's really lame. Doesn't really make sense and is just really stupid.
Then we went home. I had an early shift the next day, so I needed to go to sleep....
The next day was...Sunday...that was a long day. I got to work, worked. Then went home, just as I was leaving MGM is started to absolutely pour. By the time I got back to my apartment I, and everything on me, including my work shoes, was drenched. It really sucked.
Then Monday....yesterday, I worked at 745am, which meant I had to be up at 6:30am. It was gross. Went to work, had a mostly uneventful day. Went home, and called up Alex to see if she wanted to go see Knocked Up. Eventually we all ended up going, well me, becca, meg, alex, bree and Angie (alex's new roomie, she goes to MAL but only showed up on the 10th as she had visa issues).
We got to Downtown Disney just as it started to rain. Got soaked on our way to the theatre. Froze inside. The movie was really awesome tho. So good. Sooooooooo funny.
After that we caught the bus home and I went to bed.
The End.
